Ruth Redfern

Practice Manager

Ruth joined Waitemata Cardiology in June 2008, bringing 20 years of private health sector experience from both the primary and secondary health care levels. This has provided an ability to meet and understand the expectation of those sectors.

Prior to joining Waitemata Cardiology Ruth was the Clinic Administrator at East Care Accident & Medical Clinic, managing both the tenants and the property as well as the business of delivering healthcare services to the community. Ruth project managed the addition of a multimillion dollar extension to the East Care facility. Prior to that Ruth worked in private Cardiology for 6 years.

Ruth trained as a nurse & has completed a post graduate diploma in Health Management at the Auckland University.

Ruth’s interests outside work include an adult son who is a chef & hosting International Exchange Students.
