Lindsay Howitt

Lindsay Howitt

Sonographer

Lindsay is one of our sonographers, who performs echocardiograms, exercise stress tests in conjunction with a nurse, and vascular ultrasounds.

Alla Chatelaine

Alla Chatelaine

Sonographer

Alla is a sonographer who works part-time at Waitemata Cardiology Ltd, and at both North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. She performs echocardiograms, exercise stress tests and dobutamine echo tests.

Sonographer

I am a Cardiac Sonographer dedicated to providing high quality echocardiograms and patient service. I currently work at Waitemata Cardiology and lead the clinical service at Ascot Cardiology Group. I enjoy chasing my little daughter or chasing a golf ball in my spare time.

Kirsty Potter

Kirsty Potter

Nurse

Kirsty is our lead practice nurse, she has worked for Waitemata Cardiology since 2005, coming from a background of cardiac nursing at Greenlane Hospital. She assists the cardiologists in all diagnostic testing including exercise tolerance testing and exercise stress echocardiograms. She also runs nurse clinics fitting patients with ambulatory blood pressure, holter and event monitors. Kirsty is passionate about prevention, early detection, and prompt treatment of heart disease.

Rachel Martin-Avery

Rachel Martin-Avery

Nurse

Rachel began working in coronary care in 2007 after 9 years on medical wards at North Shore Hospital. She came to Waitemata Cardiology in 2011. Rachel assists the cardiologists in all the diagnostic testing. She loves the interaction with her patients.

Annalise Battaerd

Registered Nurse

Annalise joined Waitemata Cardiology in 2021. She has worked in Cardiology for 14 years having previously worked in Cardiac Catheter Labs assisting with and caring for patients through cardiac investigations and interventions.  At Waitemata Cardiology she assists the cardiologists in all diagnostic testing including exercise tolerance testing and exercise stress echocardiograms.  She also runs nurse clinics, fitting patients with ambulatory blood pressure, holter and event monitors. She loves engaging with her patients.
